DZ (Celje): Die Lage von Weiß ist nicht sehr beneidenswert. Abgesehen von dem materiellen Übergewicht des Schwarzen droht ihm noch matt durch Df3 und überdies kann sich der schwarze Bc2 im nächsten Zuge in eine Dame umwandeln. Diese beiden Drohungen sind nur durch einen Gegenangriff zu parieren, daher: 1. Lb3 [verhindert das Matt auf f3 und droht selbst Matt auf g8, außerdem ist Bc2 angegriffen, nach dessen Fall Weiß das Spiel Remis halten könnte] 1. ... Dxb3! [Schwarz opfert die Dame, um sich eine neue zu machen und dann mit einer Mehrfigur das Spiel zu entscheiden] 2. Dxb3 Lc8+ [Ein notwendiger Zwischenzug, da Weiß sonst den L schlägt] 3. Kh5! c1=D 4. Dxb2! [Nun opfert Weiß die Dame; warum, wird bald klar] 4. ... Dxb2 5. Lxf6+! Dxf6 und Weiß ist patt! Schwarz könnte auch im 4. Zuge anders ziehen: 4. ... Dc5+ 5. Kg6 [Wenn Kh6, so Df8+ und Weiß wird matt] 5. ... Df5+ 6. Kf7 Dh7+ 7. Ke8 Dxh4 [Nun könnte man meinen, Weiß kann aufgeben; oder ...] 8.Dxf6+ Dxf6 und wiederum ist Weiß patt!
