Die Stellung nach dem zurückgenommenen Zug erhöht die Anzahl der Schlagzüge durch sBB auf 10 (h4xg3+ und g5xh4 kommen hinzu). Zu den geschlagenen w Steinen gehört auch der a-Bauer, der als Umwandlungsfigur geschlagen wurde. Weil bei Schwarz nur noch der weißfeldrige Läufer fehlt, kann sich der w a-Bauer nicht mit a7xb8 sondern nur auf a8 umgewandelt haben. Somit ist 0-0-0 nicht mehr möglich.

Grund: Erinnert von Optik und Machart her stark an P1379128, die Autorschaft Klüvers ist also sehr plausibel. (In Herbstmans Buch 'Padenie tschernogo Korolja' [deutsche Übersetzung: 'Das Geheimnis des schwarzen Königs'] sind zu den meisten Aufgaben keine konkreten Autor/Quellenangaben angegeben, es heißt nur allgemein im Vorspann, daß Werke von Adabaschev, Babson, ..., H. Klüver (sic!), etc. verwendet wurden. Die (m.E. falsche) Autorangabe "Joseph Ney Babson" scheint aus dem Nachdruck in der 'Schwalbe' zu stammen.)

TBr: Heute würde man einfach "Circe" drunterschreiben - und damit sind auch die Regeln des Circensischen Schachs klar.
Ursprünglich war das "Schlagen mit Repuls" eine Stein-Eigenschaft (z.B. in der Forderung "Circesteine e2 und e3"), dann wurden mit der Zeit alle Steine circensisch, daraus entstand dann sprachlich "Circensisches Schach", "Circeschach" und schlussendlich "Circe". (2011-09-27)

Sally: Auf versteckte Weise führen der sL. und - mit herlinrtitischem
Zug - der wL. die durch den Zug des sK. dann effektiv werdende Fesselungsstellung herbei, die das Matt durch den Turm ermöglicht. Natürlich gibt es Vorstufen, doch war eine Darstellung mit herlin-kritischem Zug nicht festzustellen.
Dies war der Lösungstext der Dtz. Schachzeitung, XII/1979, lediglich "perikritisch" statt "herlinkritisch" hieß es dort.
Klüver hat sich stets dafür eingesetzt, dies weiterhin zu unterscheiden (im Sinne der Ausführungen in : Sidler,
Problemschach, 1968, Seite 82), doch hat sich "perikritisch" als allgemeiner Oberbegriff weitgehend durchgesetzt.

In der Diagrammstellung sind für die drei schwarzen Bauernschläge die erforderlichen weißen Bauernumwandlungen (c- und h-Bauer) möglich, ohne daß Schwarz das Rochaderecht verliert (z.B. h4xTg5xBf6xDe7xLf8=L/S, c-Bauer wandelt sich ohne Schlagfall auf c8 um). Nach dem Rückzug a7-a8=S bedingt der wBa7 zwei weitere Schlagfälle, so daß der h-Bauer nicht mehr ohne ein Schachgebot auf das Umwandlungfeld f8 gelangen kann. Der sK muß also gezogen haben und s0-0 als Parade auf e5-e6 ist nicht mehr möglich.

Berichtigte Stellung von 109 "Die Schwalbe" 8, 05/1925 (wBg4 und sSh5 fehlten).

Wieviel verschiedene Stellungen nach dem nächsten Zug von Weiß und Schwarz

Autorlösung: Beim ersten Zuschauen wird man glauben, es ergeben sich 5 x 5 = 25 verschiedene Stellungen. Man vergißt dabei aber, daß zu den "Möglichkeiten" doch jedenfalls auch gehört, daß beide Parteien mit Vorgabe von Königs- und Damenturm gespielt haben und somit noch die Rochade offen ist (z.B. für Weiß: Ke1-c1 als lange und Ke1-g1 als kurze Rochade). Wollte man nun aber vorschnell die Positionsmöglichkeiten mit 7 x 7 = 49 nennen, so hat man wieder nicht berücksichtigt, daß einer der beiden Könige zuletzt gezogen haben muß, somit entweder die weiße oder die schwarze Rochade nicht mehr zulässig ist. Lassen wir nun Weiß anziehen, so kann Schwarz nicht mehr rochieren und es ergeben sich 5 x 7 = 35 Möglichkeiten. Zieht aber Schwarz an, so ist auch Kc8 und Kg8 angängig und wir haben (da Weiß jetzt nicht rochieren kann), 2 x 5 = 10 weitere Möglichkeiten. Ergibt zusammen 45.

wieviel schachlich verschiedene Situationen sind möglich, ohne Remis fordern zu können?

Es sollen zunächst alle 4 Rochaden und etwa der e.p.-Schlag e5×d6ep möglich und Weiß am Zug sein. Das Diagramm kann (mit weißem Anzug) ohne das Recht auf den e.p.-Schlag noch einmal vorkommen und danach noch viermal, nachdem jeweils eine Rochade durch das Pendeln eines Turmes ausgeschaltet wird. Mit Ausnahme der Anfangsposition kann jeweils auch Schwarz am Zuge sein. Die Antwort ist daher 1+2×5=11.

In 'Am Rande des Schachbretts' mit folgendem Text nachgedruckt:
"Der letzte Zug war d7-d5. Könige und Türme haben noch nicht gezogen.
Wie oft kann die (scheinbar) gleiche Stellung vorkommen, ohne daß Remis reklamiert werden kann?"
Auf "die Frage, wie oft eine Stellung im Höchstfall mit dem gleichen Spieler am Zuge vorkommen kann, ohne daß Remis reklamiert werden darf, ... ergibt sich für eine Stellung, in der zu Beginn der e.p.-Schlag sowie alle 4 Rochaden möglich sind [z.B. in der vorliegenden] ..., daß dies 11mal der Fall sein kann.
Beim 2. und 3. Vorkommen der Diagramm-Stellung ist das Recht auf den e.p.-Schlag verwirkt, beim 4. und 5. Mal hat inzwischen einer der Türme gependelt, so daß nur noch 3 Rochade-Möglichkeiten bestehen, beim 6. und 7. Mal hat sich deren Zahl auf 2 vermindert, beim 8. und 9. Mal auf 1, und beim 10. und 11.Mal ist kein Rochade mehr zulässig. Außerdem kann die gleiche Stellung im Höchstfall zwischendurch noch 10mal mit Schwarz am Zuge in Erscheinung treten, ebenfalls mit 4fachem, 3fachem usw. Rochaderecht. Das 22. Mal (= 12. Mal mit Weiß bzw. 11. Mal mit Schwarz am Zuge) bringt dann auf Antrag eines der Spieler den Abbruch der Partie als unentschieden, auf den sich im praktischen Spiel die Partner wohl schon längst geeinigt hätten."
