Henrik Juel: I also agree with Frank.
One further drawback of the current system comes when searching for a particular problem published in, say, 1982: If you specify (among other search specifications) year='1982', you may be given tens of problems published in 1982 mixed with hundreds of problems reprinted in 1982, making it more tedious to find the problem that you want.
What say you, Gerd? (2013-7-19)
A.Buchanan: @Henrik: year='1982' and not year'1982' works ok I think. (2013-7-19)
A.Buchanan: @Henrik: Except I can't show the "less than" character in a comment apparently! But trust me it does work when you put it in a query! (2013-7-19)
Henrik Juel: Thanks for the hint, Andrew.
When you write a comment, it says under the comment box: 'Please do not use the characters [less than] and [greater than] in your comment.' But it does not tell you the consequence of disobediance... (2013-7-19)

Kb8.
Alternativen zu 323. ... Dg1! siehe The Problemist 11/1983, S. 393. Dort findet man auch Analysen früherer schwarzer Abweichungen.

In The Problemist 09/1986, Seite 214 reklamiert Mintz eine NL in 323 Zügen, da Schwarz 63.

This problem is unfortunately very much unsound. The idea is to get the wS to e4, g4 or h3, to play Sf2+; or f5, h5 to ply Sxg3+. But of any of the first three named squares, Black plays Df2+, forcing SxD+ Kg1! and no selfmate.
