YM: In problem was found a short cook after: 120.h5 etc., 138.h6 139.Dd4 140.h7 etc. ...but that wasn't enough for
Gustav and I sent an example of ending with mate by
last pawn: ... axb#. Only after that Jeremy sent me the full analysis (near 40 pages) from Olaf, with cook in 244 moves... (2010-05-19)
YM: After my conventional 'win' and

Also total 39 Züge! (2014-03-08)
1. Lc4+ Kb1 2. Lxd3+ Ka2 3. Lc4+ Kb1 4. Lxf1 Ka2 5. Lc4+ Kb1 6. Kd1 f3 7. Kd2 f4 8. Kd1 c6 9. Kd2 c5 10. Kd1 f5 11. Kd2 f6 12. Kd1 f1=D+ 13. Lxf1 Ka2 14. Lc4+ Kb1 15. Kd2 f2 16. Kd1 f1=D+ 17.
