Gunter Jordan: Mir ist völlig unklar, wieso diese Aufgabe einen 2. Preis und auch 10 Punkte im WCCI erhielt. Der wLe5 ist doch ein Wiesel, der glatt durch einen wB ersetzt werden kann. Hier wird ein Thema vorgegaukelt (AUW+4x Phönix), welches gar nicht dargestellt wurde! (2023-04-09)

Nightrider: The Zabunov theme wants a discovered check that is simultaneously an AMBUSH move, making the front piece into the rear piece of a new battery. This is not the case here: The front piece (wRd5) becomes the rear piece of a new battery which, however, is created without an ambush move: Its relative front piece (Sb5, Be5, Bd5) is moved into the new battery line AFTER the rear piece has already found its square (a5, f5, d3). Although the black rook cross on the mating move in a S#3 has been done several times before, this is a new matrix cross with a duel between white Sd6 and black Rf3. Nice play in all variations."
