Gunter Jordan: Er kann es halt nicht lassen! Genau die gleiche Aufgabe veröffentlichte Pankratiev in Springaren, Heft 137, 09/2015, Nr. 13442. Kurioserweise dort mit dem Ko-Autor M. Gershinski. (2017-02-27)
Olaf Jenkner: Was hat der Erfinder von Unix damit zu tun?
Zwar hat er die ersten Endspieldatenbanken geschaffen, aber im Hilfsmattbereich ist er doch ein unbeschriebenes Blatt. (2017-02-27)
Gunter Jordan: Ich habe noch einmal in der Ursprungsquelle (SuperProblem) nachgesehen. Der Ko-Autor ist nicht Ken Thompnon, sondern Gerschinski (wie auch beim Selbstplagiat). Ich habe K. Thompson als Autor gelöscht, bekomme aber Gerschinski nicht in die Datenbank hinein, der wird so komisch geschrieben. Vielleicht kann jemand helfen? (2022-01-03)

Daniel Papack schrieb einen längeren Kommentar, in dem er die häufige Darstellung von Märchenschachelementen in Aufgaben kritisiert, die auch mit klassischen Forderungen bzw. Elementen komponierbar sind. Er gab zu obiger Aufgabe ein ähnliches Beispiel als ser-h# an. Grundsätzlich hat er natürlich Recht, auch mir stößt das häufig auf. Für dieses konkrete Beispiel würde ich dies aber nicht anwenden wollen, denn: “Wie so häufig, habe ich mein Problem zum Testen von Gustav gebaut. Ich wollte prüfen, ob die Rochade im Mattzug korrekt funktioniert. Dabei ist was Hübsches rausgekommen.” [Autor]

Damit der umgewandelte Läufer die „richtige Farbe“ bekommt, muss der umwandelnde Bauer den weißen Läufer beseitigen. Der Phönix-Läufer muss denselben Weg nehmen, wie sein Vorgänger, nur eben in entgegengesetzte Richtung, um schlussendlich im Mattbild auf dem Feld zu blocken, von dem aus sein Vorgänger gestartet ist.

Alles ist so ähnlich schon dagewesen (in meiner dunklen Erinnerung). MRit wird sicher wieder genügend Vorgänger herausfischen.“ Auch HJä vertraut ihm: „Exzelsiormärsche und -matts des weißen Bauern und schwarze Umwandlungen für je einen notwendigen Turmblock in sparsamer Konstruktion; dass sich bei diesem populären Thema wohl einige Vergleichsstücke zitieren lassen werden, wird MRit vermutlich noch belegen“. Der äußert sich allerdings nicht dazu, sondern schreibt lediglich: „Wandert der Bauer links herum, wird der weiße König auf der rechten Seite gegen die Umwandlung des Blockturms abgeschirmt und umgekehrt. Dabei beeindrucktmich besonders die unscheinbare Zwillingsbildung“.

B. schwarze Opfer, konsekutiver Umnow, Klasinc, Kniest, Koschakin-Thema, Maslar, Platzwechsel von weißem Turm und schwarzem König, Umwandlung in Turm und Läufer bei Weiß, Rückkehr des weißen Turms, ein Mustermatt. Der hohe Aufwand an schwarzen Steinen hat sich hier gelohnt. Schwierig und schön.“ (KHS) Dazu sehen wir noch einen „Rundlauf des weißen Läufers in a).“ (TZ) „Ein großartiger Hit in Sachen Hilfsmattmehrzüger.“ (JA)
