JB entdeckte das folgende Detail: „In a): Der erwandelte weiße Läufer räumt das Mattfeld für den schwarzen König, die schwarze Dame blockt. In b): Der erwandelte weiße Turm räumt das Mattfeld für den schwarzen König, die schwarze Dame ist Schlagopfer.“ Insgesamt gibt es hier „eine Fülle von strategischen Themen, wie z. B. schwarze Opfer, konsekutiver Umnow, Klasinc, Kniest, Koschakin-Thema, Maslar, Platzwechsel von weißem Turm und schwarzem König, Umwandlung in Turm und Läufer bei Weiß, Rückkehr des weißen Turms, ein Mustermatt. Der hohe Aufwand an schwarzen Steinen hat sich hier gelohnt. Schwierig und schön.“ (KHS) Dazu sehen wir noch einen „Rundlauf des weißen Läufers in a).“ (TZ) „Ein großartiger Hit in Sachen Hilfsmattmehrzüger.“ (JA)
