GM hin, GM her; das mag wohl sehr tiefsinnig und schwierig sein, aber schön oder attraktiv kann ich dieses 28-steinige Monstrum nicht finden (EB)?! GES: da muß man freilich das Gebotene betrachten. Unter Berücksichtigung der Probespiele haben wir hier Reziprok-Dresdner und das Zickzack-Thema mit Schachprovokation vor uns. Allein das Grundgerüst / Schema an sich benötigt schon 20 Steine!

Auch hier ein Konstruktionsschema, das mit den verwendeten weißen Streitkräften 2 Läufer + 2 Springer und dem S-Pendel Spitzenstücke der 1980er und 1990er Jahre ins Gedächtnis ruft. (Vgl. z.B. A. Johandl, #7 Schach-Aktiv 1986, 1.Preis = FIDE-Album Nr. C97). Die intensivierte Thematik macht aber den Fortschritt im Mehrzüger des 21. Jh. deutlich. Die weiße Absicht 1.d4+? scheitert am ep.-Schlag, auch 1.d3? ist trotz Doppeldrohung zu schwach, da die nahe liegende Antwort 1... e:d3 dem sK das Fluchtfeld e4 frei gibt. Eine Systemverlagerung lenkt den sK nach c5, wobei Weiß sich erlauben kann, das potenzielle Mattsetzungsfeld d4 vorübergehend durch einen S zu besetzen (Antizielelement). Mit 5.d3! entsteht nun eine neue Drohung, die die Antwort 5.... T:e1 forciert. Nach Rückkehr in die ursprüngliche Konstellation nutzt Weiß die Führung seines Bauern nach d3 zum Mattzug d4. Eine originelle, logisch fundierte Aufspaltung des Bauern - Doppelschrittes, um "en passant" zu vermeiden.

Probespiel ist 1.f5? [dr. Tf4#]. Nun kombiniert Schwarz: In seinen Probespielen (in denen Schwarz also sein Ziel nicht erreicht und Matt wird) 1.– T:f5? Te3# und 1.– L:f3? Ld3# kann Weiß Blocks nützen. Schwarz holt also weiter aus und erzwingt (schwarzer Vorplan) kritische weiße Lenkungen: 1.f5? Ld2! 2.L:d2 T:f5 Te3+ Kf4, bzw. 2.T:d2 L:f3 Ld3+ Kd5. Darum 1.Td6 [dr. 2.Te3+ Kf5 3.Lg4#] und nach 1.– Te8/L:h3 kann Weiß den Kritikus wählen, den Schwarz nicht mehr nutzen kann: 2.f5 Ld2 3.L:d2/T:d2! Schwarz kann zwar nicht daran gehindert werden, kritische Züge zu erzwingen, aber alternativ wird ihm im weißen Vorplan die Nutzung des kritischen Zugs entzogen. Turm - Turm - Schnittpunkt
Im Probespiel der 9; 1. Sc7? Ld6! 2. Tcd6:/Tdd6: Tb6/Tb5! ist in den selbstschädigden
Turmschachs 3. Td5†/Te6! Kfô/Kd4! keine „weiße Ablenkung” im Sinne eines
Dresdners zu erkennen, da kein schwarzes Probespiel vorhanden ist. Als solche
Probespiele kämen nur die sinnlosen Versuche 1. Kf6:/Kd4?? (Grundabsicht) in
Frage. Diese Versuche sind aber so absurd, daß sie kaum ins Kalkül gezogen werden
dürften. Schon allein die 2-Liniensperre durch 1. Ld6! sichert hier den Erfolg
der Abwehrabsicht 2. Tb6/Tb5!. Die untauglichen weißen Turmschachs sind vergebliche

daß Weiß seine Ur-Drohung durch Schlagen des Sperrsteins voll wieder aufnehmen
kann, Schwarz also erst mit einem weiteren Sicherungsspiel seine Abwehr erfolgreich
zu gestalten vermag!

Bei dieser Aufgabe kommt ein mehrzügiges Matttreiben hinzu: es endet zwar ansprechend; für die thematische Präsentation in dieser Länge vielleicht unnötig. Eine Abwertung der Aufgabe gab es dadurch nicht.“.

Felber, Volker: Im Preisbericht 06/2023 steht (wie vom Co-Autor gewünscht) auf c7 ein sS und nicht auf d8 und führt aus (17.08.2023): "Mit dieser Änderung würde die schwarze Verteidigungskombination im Probespiel nach HOFFMANN/ ZIERKE zweckunrein, weil auch der weiße Zeitverlust zum schwarzen Erfolg beiträgt: Schwarz schindet insgesamt ja nur ein einziges Tempo, nämlich matt erst im 13. Zug! Dieser Zeitverlust kann aber hinsichtlich der Zweckreinheit einer schwarzen Kombination KEINE Rolle spielen, weil er regelbedingt unvermeidlich ist - wie etwa die größe des Brettes etc... GRASEMANN hat das schon vor über 40 Jahren dargelegt. Darüber sollte man nicht mehr diskutieren müssen: man kann nicht Schach spielen, OHNE mit jedem Zug ein Tempo zu verlieren, wenn die Zeit begrenzt ist.". (2023-08-19)
Felber, Volker: zu P1399320 teilt mir der Autor heute mit: "(mit sSc7 statt d8) hatte ich schon 2021 eine Version "sLd8 statt sBe7" gefunden. Das ist ein 16# (C+ - GUSTAV 4.1d - brute force), in dessen Probespiel die schwarze Kombination zum Erfolg NICHT auf den weißen Zeitverlust angewiesen, also wohl auch für HOFFMANN/ZIERKE zweckrein ist. Mit automatischen Parametern zeigt GUSTAV die Lösung nach wenigen Sekunden. (2023-08-31)
