SBD: This problem can be built with a better key - or at least a quiet one if you prefer that term - but at the end then there is a white piece that makes no contribution to the end position (it is sacrificed here) and I try to avoid that whenever possible. That was a difficult decision as I much prefer quiet keys whenever possible in a Fata. (2014-01-26)

Henrik Juel: The relocation is not necessarily systematic, it is the system itself that is relocated. Maybe 'Configuration shift' is more descriptive. Here the configuration Kb6, Lc5, Ld4 is shifted towards NE to c7, d6, e5 (2013-11-12)

Autoren:
Verbesserung von Aufgabe H3382 „THE PROBLEMIST“ Juli 2010
Also:
Rekord Nummer eins:

An awfully difficult problem, in particular the set-play. (I wonder how solvers at the World Championship would have mastered the problem.) The open mating position with WBd5 and WSf5 after the crazy blocking move f5-f4 is terrific! Despite the loose position, the set-play cannot be maintained, thus the kings have to change places, and paradoxically there is a tempo move at the end. A very unusual cage-style problem.

Inhalt:
The repeated sacrifice has a different motivation between the Solutions: each opens a different square and line. The mates are not echoes but have an echoic feel with the kings exchanging places between the two solutions.

Teppo Mänttä: I agree it seems that the award of Pitkänen 80 JT was sent to the participants in July 2021. The date "26th of June" is confusing in this case. (2021-08-07)

Content
White waiting move in the key. After the black queen has cleared the long diagonal (moving in the right direction), we see a black and white Bristol in the corner. A Herlin (= Peri-Indian) by white. The wKb5 is "gone around " by Bg2-b7-a6, and this interference is then also used by 6.Kf1.
Model mate
The following problem (P0500529) by Viktoras Paliulionis served as a template.
The white waiting move further enhances the content.

Inhalt:
Also muss sich Weiß etwas Neues einfallen lassen.
