Aufgabe mitgeschickt. Der Finalangriff 1.Lg5+? Ke5 2.Le3 [3.Sg4#] ist noch nicht zielführend wegender starken Verteidigung 2.– Tg1!, nicht aber 2.– d5. Es liegt auf der Hand, dass der schwarze Turm c1 von der Grundreihe weggelenkt werden muss. Dafür muss Weiß ein Läufer / Springer-Pendel in Bewegung setzen, mit dem Zweck, durch eine Doppeldrohung den Turm c1 von der Grundlinie zu zwingen: 1.Le7 [2.L:d6#] Ke5 2.Sf5 Kf4 3.Se3 Ke5 4.Lf6+ Kf4 5.Lg5+ Ke5 6.Sc2 [7.Sc4/Sg4#]. Schwarz bleibt nur die Beseitigung des weißen Springers 6.– T:c2. Nun mit dem schwarzen König zurück in die Ausgangsstellung [denn der Springer stört auf e3]. 7.Lf6+ Kf4 8.Le7 Ke5 9.Sf5 Kf4 10.Sh6 Ke5 11.Lf6+ Kf4. Die Ausgangsstellung zum finalen Angriff ist erreicht
ohne den schwarzen Turm auf der 1. Grundreihe. 12.Lg5+ Ke5 13.Le3 d5, bleibt nur die schwache Verteidigung (Beugung) 14.Sg4+ Kd6 15.e5# und Mustermatt. Michael Herzberg ist es gelungen, die
Aufgabe ökonomischer zu gestalten, wofür ihm Wolfgang Bär Mitautorschaft angeboten hat P1403065. Die Lösung bleibt unverändert bis auf 6.Sbc2. „Weil das so klar, gut gegliedert und völlig logisch daherkommt, ist es auch nicht schwer zu lösen. Auf ein gutes Mustermatt verzichtet dieser Autor nie.“ (VZ) Zumindest selten.
