(C. Gamnitzer). Nachgeholt werden muß: Ing. Franz Aistleitner in Dankbarkeit gewidmet, was ich versehentlich habe unter den Tisch fallen lassen. Natürlich ist es ein Siebener, wie unter dem Diagramm angegeben, kein Fünfer, wie im Vorspann angemerkt. - Sofort 1.Tf5+? T:f5! 2.?, daher 1.Tf7! (2.Db4+ Kc6 3.Db5+ T:b5), der sTg5 darf aber vertikal wegziehn wegen 2.Dd5+ L:d5, also bleibt nur das, dem sK ein weiteres Fluchtfeld schaffende, 1.- S:e4! (2.Db4+? Kd5!), aber nun 2.Tf5+! T:f5 3.g5! (4.Dc6+ K:c6); wieder darf der sT die 5. Reihe nicht verlassen, z.B. 3.- T:f7 4.S:e4+! Kc4 5.b3+ L:b3, daher nur, sich einstellend, 3.- T:g5!, und nochmal: 4.h5!; doch nun hat der sT eine neue Möglichkeit: 4.- T:g1! (5.S:e4+? T:e4!), aber das nutzt man mit 5.c:d4+! K:d4 6.D:e4+ Kc5 7.Dc4+ L:c4. Diverse unthematische Fehlversuche führe ich nicht auf. - Das ist doch wieder einmal ein ganz typischer Gamnitzer mit einer interessanten und komplizierten Struktur! - MS: In der Tat sehr knifflig, obwohl die Kurzdrohungen allmählich den Weg weisen; sehr schön übrigens, daß die D-Batterie auf drei verschiedene Weisen genutzt wird. - RS: Überraschende Räumung der g-Linie und K-Rückkehr. - DrJB: Sehr scharfsinnig und für den Löser schwer faßbar. - FS: Kaum zu bewältigen! - Und HM hat aufgegeben ("Ich finde keinen richtigen Plan"). - Von zwei Lösern kam 3,2/IV.

Der Autor ist immer ein fleißiger Kommentator seiner eigenen Aufgaben, geben wir ihm das Wort: " Das Satzmatt 1.- D:f6 liegt zum Greifen nah, wenn Schwarz mit dem einzugbereiten Bäuerlein h2 nicht unantastbares Bewegungspotential hätte. 1.Sc8! (Flucht; drohend 2.T:e4+ K:e4 3.Df3+ Kd4 4.Dc3+ Ke4 5.De3+ Kf5 6.g4+ nebst 7.Dg5+ D:g5#) d5 2.Sc6+ K:c4 3.Sa5+ [Rückkehr] Kd4. Nachdem Lc4 dem feldverblockenden Schlagzugriff des Bd5 durch glq Flucht vom Brett grq entzogen worden ist, erfolgt nun der Schwenk in Richtung Finale, allerdings steht Weiß jetzt neuerlich vor der Auswahlklippe. Die schwarze Lady wird ohne jedliches Batteriegedonner insgesamt 3 x zur Täterin, wobei der Umstand, dass die beiden weißen Themafiguren im Finale neben d6 auch das Feld b6 alternierend besuchen, dem zyklischen Geschehen besondere Einheitlichkeit und Dichte verleiht. " KHS befand: " der schwerste Lösebrocken des gesamten Heftes; erst nach vier Anläufen bewältigt, obwohl ich die Vorliebe des Autors für Springer-Schlüsselzüge kenne und diese auch zuerst versucht hatte! "

Geben wir zunächst den Autor Gelegenheit zu einigen Anmerkungen: " Die pikante Widerlegung des Versuches, den Tb4 mit Gewalt (1.T:b5?) zu entsorgen, sollte für das Fehlen einer anderweitigen, thematischen, Schlüsselverführung entschädigen. Daß der Mißgriff 1.- T:g2 zur Vorwegnahme des zweiten Drohspiels führt, ist als Schwäche ansehbar. Mich stört es kaum - vielleicht findet das Stück gerade dadurch mehr Löser. " Die waren meist recht angetan, so beispielsweise WW " Highlight der Serie. " Für KHS war dies " ein schwerer Lösebrocken, besonders wegen der vielen mich hier störenden Kurzvarianten - positiv der gut versteckte Schlüsselzug. "

Der Autor hat einer Exzelsior-Aufgabe aus dem Jahr 1984 eine vollzügige Drohung beigegeben. Das ist eine objektive Verbesserung und poliert das Problem in geeigneter Form auf. Im Gegensatz zur logisch unterfütterten Aufspaltung des Doppelschritts (der aber schon in der früheren Version vorhanden war), erachte ich dies aber eher als Kosmetik denn für ein thematisch erforderliches Element. In dieser Form jetzt eine abgerundete Sache!

„Bauer stärker als Offizier bei Weiß“ oder auch allgemeiner „Austausch stärkere gegen schwächere Figur“ wurde erstmals (?) von Kohtz und Kockelkorn im Deutschen Wochenschach 1907 in einem vielbeachteten Opus zelebriert (P1037596). In der hier vorliegenden Aufgabe ist nun alles perfekt: Die Konstruktion ist nahe am Meredith und damit sparsamer als bei allen Vergleichsstücken, der Austausch des weißen Angriffssteins ist zweckrein gestaltet; dies geschieht, indem die schwarze Ursprungsparade Le3 wiederkehrt, und das Drohspiel ist vollzügig. Mehr geht in diesem Rahmen nicht! Der Autor hat das im Einleitungssatz beschriebene Feld ausgiebig bearbeitet, und wo es keine sinnvolle orthodoxe Darstellungsmöglichkeit gibt, ist er auch ins Selbstmatt ausgewichen. Dies in den Fällen, wo die schwächere Figur in der stärkeren enthalten ist, also Läufer (oder Turm) versus Dame. Die meisten Figurenkombinationen dürften übrigens dargestellt worden sein, auch für „Bauer stärker als Dame“ findet sich eine mögliche Begründung wie e. p. oder Umwandlung; man muß es halt konstruktiv bewältigen können.

Diese Realisierung eines sechszügigen Exzelsiors in Verbindung mit einer vollständigen Drohung ist eine gelungene Erstdarstellung. Dabei würde es schon in 5 Zügen zum Matt reichen, wenn der entfesselte schwarze Turm nicht auf a5 parieren könnte. Trotz der guten Darstellung glaube ich, dass das Thema noch Möglichkeiten nach oben bietet. Insbesondere bei Vermeidung von Nebenspiel würde der Grundgedanke an Übersichtlichkeit gewinnen.
