Weglenkung von sT und sD, um das Mustermatt zu erzwingen (ATü). Interessante Serie schwarzer Lenkungen, deren Prägnanz sich ohne Streckparade und ''schwarze Duale'' (4. - Dd2 verwischt den sT-Römer) allerdings noch steigern ließe [z . B. Eine ziemlich seltene logische Struktur finden wir in 2896 Durch den Vorplan wird eine gute schwarze Verteidigung nicht ausgeschaltet sondern lediglich abgewertet. 1. Lc6? (2. Te4) scheitert an 1. Lc6? Txe6 aber nicht an 1. Lc6? d2? 2. Tc3 Nach 1. Te4 Kd5 2. La1 c6 3. Te3 Kc4 4. Lxc6 4. Txe6 immer noch möglich, aber wegen 5. Txe6 d2 6. Txd6 nebst Matt im 8. Zug wertlos geworden. Die sofortige Ausführung des Hauptplans scheitert am Hindernis weißer Bauer g5.
Umfangreiche Pendelmanöver zwingen den schwarzen König, diesen Störenfried selbst zu beseitigen. Danach kehrt alles in die Ausgangsstellung zurück, die - ohne Bauer g5 - im 14. Zug (!) wieder erreicht ist. Danach verfügt Schwarz gegen die Ausführung des Hauptplans
noch über eine dresdnerische Ersatzverteidigung, doch die so entstandene Brennpunktstellung der schwarzen Dame erweist sich infolge eines En-passant-Schlages als unzureichend und als krönenden Abschluss gibt es noch ein Mustermatt. Problemschach in inhaltlicher und konstruktiver Perfektion!
Preisbericht Mehrzüger ''Schach-Aktiv'' 2006 von Manfred Zucker
Die Mehrzüger-Abteilung von ''Schach-Aktiv'' 2006 umfasste 21 Probleme in fünf bis 18 Zügen. Ein Problem erwies sich als kein Urdruck und musste deshalb unberücksichtigt bleiben. Aber die verbliebenen 20 Mehrzüger erwiesen sich als so hochkarätig, dass der Preisrichter seine liebe Mühe hatte, eine Auswahl zu treffen.
Dabei herausgekommen ist eine hohe Auszeichnungsquote von über 50 , eine Quote, die ich bisher nur höchst selten vergeben habe und doch hätte sie leicht noch höher ausfallen können. Eine so hochkarätige Mehrzüger-Abteilung hat mir bisher kaum zur Beurteilung vorgelegen. Dabei erwies sich die noch auf Herbert Grasemann zurückgehende Praxis, Vierzüger zur Dreizüger-Abteilung zuzurechnen, als recht sinnvoll, obwohl ansonsten auch von mir kritisch beäugt. Aber Vierzüger hätten hier wohl ziemlich chancenlos konkurriert. An der Spitze der Abteilung rangieren zwei Meisterwerke eines überragenden Könners, den Herbert Grasemann schon vor über 25 Jahren in ''Schach ohne Partner für Könner'' (1982) begeistert feierte: ''Eine strahlende Nova, ein neuer Stern am Problemhimmel _''. Michael Herzberg: Ein hervorragendes Problem! Leitlinie für viele Pendelaufgaben, welche danach folgten, aber diese Darstellung bleibt für mich bis dato unübertroffen an Originalität.

(Bei Ansicht des Stückes hatte ich eine direkte Vision im Kopf, nämlich, wie man einen etwas anderen Hauptplan kreieren sowie auch einiges an Steinen sparen könnte und habe auf die schnelle eine Stellung gebaut, (Kein C+) welche 3 Steine weniger, als Minus aber einen etwas unschönen Schluss hat: W:Kc7,Ld7,Ld6,Sf5,Bb6,Bc5,Bd3,Bg5,Bh5,Bh3. S:Kd5,Te1,Lh6,Sa2,Sg8,Bb7,Be2,Bf7,Bf6. #18 1.Lc8? (2.Lxb7+ Ke6 3.Sd4#) 1...fxg5!

An die Eleganz der Aufgabe von Dieter Kutzborski kommt diese Konstruktion nicht heran, würde auch in meinen Augen kein autarkes Problem sein, selbst den Zusatz „ ...nach Dieter Kutzborski“ halte ich für unangebracht. Wäre der Schluss ohne das Schlagen auf c6 besser gelungen, so könnte man über eine eigene Version nachdenken, aber in diesem Schema ist das nicht darstellbar, da in einigen Abspielen der Zug wKd7 droht, deshalb musste die Idee leider gedehnt werden mit dem dazwischen ziehen eines sS nach c6 und kann nicht in 17 Zügen erledigt werden. Diese Varianten mit dem Zug auf das Feld c6 existieren bei Dieter Kutzborski bedauerlicherweise auch, denn 15...Ta6/Se7 strecken die Drohung ebenfalls auf 18 Züge nach 15.Lc8, außer der im Text angegebenen Hauptvariante mit 15...g1D, zudem gibt es dann Mattduale mit 18.Sd4#/Sg7#. Dieser Sachverhalt muss der Vollständigkeit halber leider auch erwähnt werden. So etwas ist für den Komponisten immer unschön, da auf volle Zuglänge solche nicht thematisch beabsichtigten Abspiele den Urgedanken verwässern können. Generell sollten der Fairness wegen unbedingt alle vollzügigen (Neben) Varianten immer angegeben werden in der Lösung.

Fazit meiner Gedankengänge zur Konstruktion: Das Einsparen von Material sowie die Beseitigung von einem Mattdual berechtigt nicht automatisch geistiges Eigentum eines anderen Autoren zu beanspruchen, auch wenn dieses leider heutzutage in der Praxis von einigen Komponisten gehandhabt und so ohne große Anstrengung ein neues eigenes Problem kreiert wird. Die Veränderungen meiner Stellung gegenüber dem Problem von Dieter Kutzborski sind m. E. zu gering um eine eigene Version zu rechtfertigen, würden das Stück „verschlimmbessern“. Als Ideenanregung möchte ich der Öffentlichkeit meine spontanen Überlegungen zur Aufgabe von Dieter Kutzborski dennoch nicht vorenthalten haben, denn das Schema ist ergiebig und noch lange nicht ausgeschöpft ...) Neudeutsche Logik in allerfeinster Güte! Man muss dieses Stück mehrmals durchspielen, um überhaupt zu verstehen, warum der weiße Hauptplan - unter fortwährender Beschäftigung des sL - erst im 8. Zug durchdringt. Dabei erfolgt die Ablenkung des letztlich ''fehlenden'' schwarzen Verteidigers (Sh7) bereits im 1. Zug. Das ''provokante'' Auftreten des wK setzt dem tollen Stück weitere Glanzlichter auf (WS). Bei Weiß bewirken König, Läufer und Bauer die notwendigen schädlichen Lenkungen des schwarzen Läufers. Erst am Ende greift ein weißer Springer ein und zaubert ein Mustermatt (PH). Nach dem ersten Zug hat Weiß sein Vorplanziel bereits erreicht - dann aber braucht er ein hochklassiges Manöver mit spannender Königswanderung, um den wL wieder zurück zu bekommen. Ein krönendes Mustermatt zum Abschluss, bravo (ATü)!

Überraschend wird dann aber der wBg2 zum ''Königsmörder'' (JB)! Feinsinnige Demonstration logischer Problemkunst mit nur 12 Steinen.
Gewiss ist der Sb6 verdächtig, Schlüssel und Drohspiel lassen diesen kleinen Makel jedoch bald vergessen. Ein typischer Kutzborski und eines genauen Studiums wert (WS).

Das Finale ist - in Anbetracht des geringen Materials - überraschend und rundet das logische Geschehen in beeindruckender Weise ab. Typisch Kutzborski und ein würdiger Abschluss der abwechslungsreichen Serie (WS)! Ein schwer zu durchschauender Langzüger. Wenn man aber erst mal die Alternativen erkannt hat, wird die Mattführung mit dreimaligem Zugzwang für den sB, der schließlich seinen Turm blockiert, klarer. Eine gelungene Konstruktion (JB)! Ein absolutes Lehrstück in puncto Ökonomie: Da steht fast nichts auf dem Brett, und noch die spärlichsten Mittel genügen, dem sT die Felder zu nehmen (U. Karbowiak).
Fernblock als Produkt wiederholten schwarzen Zugzwangs. Die Sparsamkeit der eingesetzten Kräfte ist bewundernswert.

Der engagierte weiße König erkämpft die Nowotny-Nutzung auf b6 (PH). Glänzend erdacht und phantastisch umgesetzt - ein Juwel neudeutscher Problemkunst (WS)! Wer glaubt denn am Anfang an eine so komplizierte Königswanderung zum schützenden Feld g5 (MN)? Der wK muss aus der 7. und 6. Reihe verschwinden, um Schachgebote bei schwarzer Verteidigung zu vermeiden. Das gelingt nur über Umwege, führt aber letztendlich zum Erfolg. Wieder ein hochklassiges Kutzborski-Problem (JB).
Weiträumige Evakuierung des wK als Nowotny-Vorbereitung unter Zuhilfenahme eines wD-Pendels. Spannender Stoff in einfallsreicher Umsetzung.

Zunächst drei Fehlversuche: 1. Sb5? c5! 1. Se4? h1=S! 1. Sd1? De6! Der Schlüssel 1. Se2! (droht 2. Sd4/Sxg3) provoziert das Gegenschach Le5+ mit der weiteren Abwicklung 2. Ka3 Lxd6+ 3. Kb2 Le5+ 4. Sc3 Lg3 5. Sb5 c5 6. Sxe7+ Ke5/Kf4 7. Sg6+ Kf5 8. Sd6+ Lxd6 9. g4#. Eine hochwertige Aufgabe mit beeindruckender Freilegung des Feldes d6 (PH). Das Feld d6 ist doppelt angegriffen und zusätzlich noch besetzt. Trotzdem wird gerade dieses Feld Schwarz zum Verhängnis, nachdem Weiß dort zweckrein das eigene Material beseitigen lässt. Das war unter anderem auch deshalb schwierig, weil auch eine Holst-Umwandlung auf h1 im Bereich des Möglichen lag. Sehr schöne Auswahl an weißen Springerzügen, hat mir außerordentlich gut gefallen (SHL). Das wunderschöne Finale krönt eine logische Aufgabe mit heiterer Note (WS)!

Auch hier ein Konstruktionsschema, das mit den verwendeten weißen Streitkräften 2 Läufer + 2 Springer und dem S-Pendel Spitzenstücke der 1980er und 1990er Jahre ins Gedächtnis ruft. (Vgl. z.B. A. Johandl, #7 Schach-Aktiv 1986, 1.Preis = FIDE-Album Nr. C97). Die intensivierte Thematik macht aber den Fortschritt im Mehrzüger des 21. Jh. deutlich. Die weiße Absicht 1.d4+? scheitert am ep.-Schlag, auch 1.d3? ist trotz Doppeldrohung zu schwach, da die nahe liegende Antwort 1... e:d3 dem sK das Fluchtfeld e4 frei gibt. Eine Systemverlagerung lenkt den sK nach c5, wobei Weiß sich erlauben kann, das potenzielle Mattsetzungsfeld d4 vorübergehend durch einen S zu besetzen (Antizielelement). Mit 5.d3! entsteht nun eine neue Drohung, die die Antwort 5.... T:e1 forciert. Nach Rückkehr in die ursprüngliche Konstellation nutzt Weiß die Führung seines Bauern nach d3 zum Mattzug d4. Eine originelle, logisch fundierte Aufspaltung des Bauern - Doppelschrittes, um "en passant" zu vermeiden.
