Schwer zu durchschauende Rückkehrstrategie (MS). Schwierig und schön (FU). Oft gesehene Vorplanstaffelung (FSch). Auch aus einem bekannten Schema läßt sich offensichtlich immer wieder etwas Interessantes machen (PG). Nach guter Einleitung folgt ein sehr grobes und in 6-zügiger Länge erschlaffendes Schlußspiel (MOe). In gewohnter Kozdon-Qualität, großartiges Problem (KHS).

1.- Sd2 kein Matt mehr gibt (HM).
Der Störenfried c2 muss verschwinden. Die Durchführung ist ein wenig
zu direkt! (HB).
Der sperrende wBd2 muss mittels Springer(-rückkehr)-Manöver beseitigt
werden, gut erdacht! (TS).
Beseitigung hinderlicher Masse zwecks Linienöffnung im Vorplan. Bei
DW selbstverständlich neudeutsche Logik (NG).
Nachdem der Notnagel c2 gezogen worden ist, kann Schwarz sich
austoben (MS).

19.345 (Bär) Um den Hauptplan beginnend mit 1.L:e7 durchführen zu können muss der sTd8 weggelenkt sein, weil er die Hauptplandrohung mit Bd6 unterbinden hilft. Einfach 1.Lg8 zu spielen (droht mit dem Se3 matt) ist noch zu früh, weil Schwarz die Verteidigung Be6 hat und dadurch noch nicht mit dem sTd8 zurückschlagen muss. Daraus ist nun die Schlussfolgerung zu ziehen das im ersten Vorplan der sBe7 vom Brett muss. Die Lösung: 1.Lh4! Kf4 2.Sd5+, Ke5 3.S:e7 Kf4 4.Sd5+ Ke5 5.Lg8 (droht jetzt L:g3 und Matt) 5… T:g8 6.Se3 Kf4 7.Lg5+ Ke5 die Ausgangsstellung ist wieder erreicht, jetzt schlägt der Hauptplan durch. 8.L:e7 Kf4 9.Sd5+ Ke5 10.Ld6+ K:d5 11.e4 matt (Mustermatt). (4 + 2 P.). „Fast reines B-Matt. Das Problem bestand darin, den richtigen Augenblick für Lg8 zu finden. Gefällt mir außerordentlich gut“ (WeM). „Kristallklare Logik ohne Nebenspiel“ (KR). „Der Clou der Serie. Möchte ich im Preisbericht wieder sehen“ (KHS). „Ein neues Glanzstück von WB; Lh7 muss zum richtigen Zeitpunkt geopfert werden“ (KH). „Bekanntes Pendel mit einem gewiss nicht bekannten Mustermatt mit 6 weißen Bauern“ (VZ). „Mit w L/S-Pendeln wird der sK beschäftigt und der sBe7 beseitigt, der den Schlussangriff des wL von d6 aus verhindert hätte“ (JB). Leider ist die Stellung illegal, wie verschiedentlich moniert wurde. Die schwarze Bauernstellung erfordert sechs Schlagfälle (sBb6:a5,sBc7:d6:e5:f4:g3,sBf5:g4), es konnten aber nur fünf weiße Steine geschlagen werden, da der sechste weiße Stein wBh2 als Schlagstein entfällt! Der wBh2 konnte sich nicht umwandeln wegen sBh5 und er konnte auch nicht auf die g-Linie wechseln, da der sLf8 als sSchlagstein nicht ins Spiel gelangen konnte (sBe7 und sBg7) und die anderen zwei verbleibenden schwarzen Steine (sD und sS) nachweislich vorher auf wBa4:b5 und wBb4:c5 geschlagen wurden. Der Autor hat schnell reagiert und verbessert, indem er den sBg4 durch einen wBh3 ersetzt.

Neudeutsch-logisches Selbstmatt. Der Hauptplan scheitert daran, dass der weiße König über b3 flüchten kann. Der überraschende Schlüssel gibt zwei Fluchtfelder. Nachdem der weiße Springer umgruppiert wurde und der weiße Lg8 stattdessen das Feld b3 blockt, kann der Hauptplan erfolgreich durchgeführt werden. Teilweise sehr schwer zu findende Züge der weißen Dame, die einen Rundlauf vollführt. Außerdem zweimal weiße Auswahl (im dritten und sechsten Zuge). Mustermatt.
