(2.L:e4) scheitert an 1...ef5! Die Beseitigung des Be6 mit 1.La6 Sd6 2.Se6 (3.Sc7) wird wieder mit 2...Tc1! pariert. Deshalb muss Weiß etwas weiter ausholen: 1.La6! (2.Lb7) Sd6; danach verstellt 2.Sc6 (3.Sb6) vorsorglich die c-Linie 2...Sc4 3.Sc5 Sd6 und nun beseitigt überraschenderweise der andere weiße Springer den Be6 4.S:e6 Se8. „Der weiße Turm dirigiert die schwarze Dame in eine hoffnungslose Lage.“ (W.Wittig, Chemnitz), denn diese muß in sogenannter „Brennpunktstellung“ immer die beiden potentiellen Mattfelder b4 und f4 im Auge behalten und kann dadurch den Turm nicht schlagen. Versuchen wir uns in diese „geradlinige, logische Mattführung“ (S.Borchardt, Radeberg) hinein zu vertiefen: Der Hauptplan 1.Sb6+? Kb5 2.Sd7+ Kc4 3.Se5+ scheitert an 3...S:e5! und 1.Tf5? ist zu langsam, während zuerst 1.Tb4+? Ka5 2.Tf5 e5,e6 3.Tf7? L:b4! erlaubt. Natürlich geht auch 1.Tb4+? Ka5 2.T:e7? wegen 2...L:e7+! nicht. Deshalb 1.Tb4+! Ka5 2.Tf5 (3.T:d5+ Ka6 4.Tb6 matt) e6 (nicht 2...e5? 3.Tb7+ Lb4 4.L:b4+ Ka4 5.Tf6 b2 6.Ld2 nebst 7.Ta6 matt) 3.Tb6+ Ka4 und nun droht nach der Rückkehr 4.Tf7 sofort 5.Ta7 matt, und mit 4...Le7+ 5.T:e7 S:e7 wird der Sg6 weggelenkt, wonach das Rückpendel 6.Tb4+ Ka5 7.Tb7+ Ka4 den Hauptplan 8.Sb6+ Kb5 9.Sd7+ Kc4 (9...Kc6? 10.Tb6, 9...Ka4,Ka6 10.Sc5) 10.Se5+ Kc5 11.Lb4 matt erlaubt (4 Punkte) . „Wieder eine tolle neudeutsch-logische Aufgabe mit Turmpendel, Switchback, einer Kombination aus Linienöffnungen und -verstellungen, Turmopfer, Abzugs- und Gegenschach und einem schönen Mustermatt!“ lobte J.Schottenhamel (Ebersbach)

„Klar war, dass der weiße Turm den Angriff starten und damit den Weg für den weißen Läufer frei machen muss, der sich mit seinem Kameraden aber noch opfert, ehe die weißen Springer das Finale bestreiten.“ erkannte J.Benn (Petershagen-Windheim) ganz genau. Der Versuch 1.Ld6? ed6 2.Tb8+ scheitert noch an der hinderlichen Masse der Bauern b6 und b7. 1.T:b6? droht nichts und der Bd3 verhindert den Versuch 1.La6? (2.Lb7), der zusätzlich noch durch 1...d4! mit Einschaltung des Le4 zunichte gemacht wird. Mit 1.Tb1! (2.Tc1) d2 (1...T:f1? 2.T:f1 d2 3.Sd6+ ed 4.Tf8) wird die Diagonale a6-f1 für 2.Lb5 (3.Ld7) zur Lenkung des Le4 freigelegt, um mit 3.La6 ba6 dann das erste Hindernis auf der b-Linie zu beseitigen. Jetzt droht 4.T:b6 Matt durch 5.Tc6 und auf 4... Tc1 steht dem Hauptplan 5.Ld6 ed6 6.Tb8+ Kc7 7.Tb7+ Kc8 8.S:d6+ Kd8 9.Sef7 mit Mustermatt nichts mehr im Wege (4 Punkte) „Typischer Herrmann-Vielzüger: Unglaubliches Mattgespinst mit zwei Läuferopfern, einem Turmpendel und dem finalen Matt durch die beiden Springer.“ fand M.Hentschel (Graupa)

Der Finalangriff 1.Sf7+ Kc5 2.Ld4+ scheitert an 1...L:f7! und 1.f3? zur Weglenkung des Läufers droht nichts. Durch die Stellungsverlagerung 1.Sc4+! Kc5 2.Sd2 (3.Le7) Kd6 (nicht 2...e1D? 3.Ld4+ Kd6 4.Sc4 matt) 3.Le7+ Ke5 ist 4.f3 jetzt mit der Drohung 5.Sc4 matt ausgestattet und 4...L:f3 erzwungen. Nach dem Rückpendelmanöver 5.Lf6+ Kd6 6.Sc4+ Kc5 7.Se5 Kd6 kann nun der Hauptplan 8.Sf7+ Kc5 9.Ld4+ Kc4 10. Se5 matt (4 Punkte) erfolgen. „Selbstverständlich mündet die Lösung in einem Mustermatt. Diese „tolle Aufgabe aus der Kiste der neudeutsch-logischen Mehrzüger.“ (J.Schottenhamel, Ebersbach) hat das Probespiel 1.S:e3+? T:e3!, 1...de3 2.c4+ Ke5 3.f4+ K:f5! Die Lenkung von Td2 mit 1.Tg5 Sh7 2.Tg4 scheitert an 2...hg4! Deshalb kommt zunächst 1.Tg5! (2.Lh3) Sh7 2.T:h5 (2.Lh3) Sf6 3.Tg5 (nicht 3.Th4? Td2 4.Th5? S:h5!) Sh7 4.Tg4 (5.Td4) Td2 5.Tg6 (6.Le4) Sf6. Jetzt ist der Turm unter Beseitigung des Bh5 weggelenkt und f5 muß noch gedeckt werden mit 6.Tg5 Sh7. Bei sofortiger Ausführung des Hauptplanes würde sich dem König noch eine Fluchtmöglichkeit über f6 eröffnen, weshalb erst 7.Th5 Sf6 folgen muß (7...Sg5? 8.T:g5 9.Lh3 matt). In sparsamer Stellung wird eine doppelte Springerweglenkung gezeigt, der Rest des Ensembles nimmt seine Ausgangsposition wieder ein. Daß der Springer dabei einen dresdnerischen Hufabdruck hinterläßt (wenn auch keinen aus einer klassischen Kategorie) empfinde ich als gelungenen Zusatzgag. Der Hauptplan ist schwer zu sehen, weil das Zielfeld ohnehin schon von Schwarz gedeckt ist, und deshalb ist eine zweimalige Weglenkung nötig, weil Schwarz sonst in nur einem Zug die Deckung von c4 wiederherstellen könnte; das halte ich in Summe für originell, Läufer- und Turmweglenkungen sieht man häufiger. Trotz minimalistischem Materialeinsatz wird hinreichend interessantes Geschehen vorgeführt, das alles – abgesehen von einer kleinen logischen Unsauberkeit, die in der Lösungsbesprechung beschrieben wird – ohne Schwächen!
