Es liegt auf der Hand, dass der schwarze Turm c1 von der Grundreihe weggelenkt werden muss. Dafür muss Weiß ein Läufer / Springer-Pendel in Bewegung setzen, mit dem Zweck, durch eine Doppeldrohung den Turm c1 von der Grundlinie zu zwingen: 1.Le7 [2.L:d6#] Ke5 2.Sf5 Kf4 3.Se3 Ke5 4.Lf6+ Kf4 5.Lg5+ Ke5 6.Sc2 [7.Sc4/Sg4#].
