"Sometimes, the mating move is a promotion, and both D/T would mate. Similarly, sometimes D/L would both work. This is a tolerated dual under Article 13 of the Codex, because if it were not allowed, too many matrices would be invalid."

"(2) Help-play compositions are unsound also if they are dualized, except that in the final move a promotion into different pieces having partially the same power (for example queen/rook or queen/bishop) may be tolerated [16]."
