Probespiele: 1. Lb8 Kb6 2. Sd7+ Sxd7! 1. Tg4? Sxg4 2. Lb8 b1=D 3. Lxc7+ Db6. 1. Tg3? droht nichts, also: 1. Lb8! Kb6 2. Sa4+ Ka5 3. S4xc3 Kb6 4. Sa4+ Ka5 5. Sc5 Kb6 6. La7+ Ka5 (die Ausgangsstellung, aber ohne den sBc3) 7. Tg3! b1=S (7. -Sc4? 8. Sb7+ Ka4 9. Sc3+ und Matt im 11. Zuge) 8. Tg4! Sxg4 (somit ist der Springer vom Feld d7 abgelenkt, 8. -Sc4? 9. Txc4 Sc3 10. Ta4+) 9. Lb8 Kb6 10. Sd7+ Ka5 11. Lxc7+ Ka4 12. Sc5#.
Perfektes Neudeutsch in ausgereifter Ästhetik. (Preisrichter Volker Zipf )

„Feine Logik, filigran und gediegen dargeboten.“ (V.Zipf, Erfurt) begeisterte unser Löser. Der Hauptplan 1.Le6? (2.Ld7) wird durch 1...Sc5! widerlegt und 1.Lc4? (2.Lb5) funktioniert nicht wegen 1...Df3! 2.Lb5+ Dc6+! Durch das Manöver 1.Sf6+! Ke7 2.Sd5+ Ke8 wird die Linie f3-c6 geschlossen und 3.Lc4 Sb4 lenkt jetzt den Springer (3...Th6? 4.Sd6+ T:d6 5.Sc7+ Ke7 6.Tf7 matt), aber nach der Rückkehr 4.Sf6+ Ke7 5.Sg8+ Ke8 ergibt sich auf den Hauptplanangriff 6.Le6 die Ersatzverteidigung 6...Dd3, die aber durch 7.Sd6+ D:d6/L:d6 8.Lf7/Ld7 (6...Lc5,Le7 7.Sd6+ L:d6 8.Ld7) trotzdem zum Mustermatt führt (2 Punkte) „Schöne Aufgabe mit Springeropfer, Nutzung der Turmlinienöffnung und Mustermattbilder im neudeutsch logischem Stil mit bestechender Ökonomie. Solche Aufgaben gefallen immer wieder!“ kommentierte J.Schottenhamel.

18833 (Rupert Munz). Sc5=a 2.Sf5!=B Sd3/Sd7/(Sb3+) 3.c:d3/e:d7/(c:b3) Kf2 4.Th2#, 1.– Sd6=b 2.Sd3!=A Sb5/Sf5 3.c:b5/g:f5 Kg3 4.Tg1#, 1.– Sd8 2.Sf5 Sc6/Sf7 3.b:c6/e:f7 Kf2 4.Th2# bzw. 1.– Kf2 2.Sf5 Kg2 3.Tch1 _ 4.T7h2#, 1.– Kg3 2.Sd3 Kg2 3.T7h1 _ 4.Tcg1#. Es scheitern die Versuche: 1.b6? Sd8 2.Sf5 Sc6!; 1.e7? Sc5 2.Sf5 Sd7!; 1.g5? Sd6 2.Sd3 Sf5!; 1.c5? Sd6 2.Sd3 S:b5!; 1.Td1? Kf2 2.Sf5 Ke2!, 1.Th5? Kg3 2.Sd3 K:g4!
