1.Sxa5? ist zu verfrüht, da es nach 1. …Kxd2! nicht mehr weitergeht. Somit käme die Befreiung des schwarzen Läufers aus seinem Käfig viel zu zeitig. Also müssen vorher die weißen Schwerfiguren ein bisschen umrangiert werden. Das geht wie folgt vor sich:

Der schwarze Käfig kann nicht sofort „geknackt“ werden, weil der schwarze Läufer dann entkommt. Deshalb muss vorher die weiße Dame nach d3 gelangen, denn erst dann macht es Sinn, durch Schlag des schwarzen Turmes den Käfig aufzuknacken.
Außerdem sehen wir im Laufe der Lösung sehr schöne Bahnungseffekte: weißer Turm für die weiße Dame; weißer Turm (auf dem Rückweg) für den weißen Turm. Außerdem muss die weiße Dame aktiv die Linie a6-f1 für den schwarzen Läufer öffnen, damit dieser mattsetzen kann.
Auch sehen wir die Rückkehr des weißen Springers und ein Mustermatt.

Korrektur zu P1405460

Steven fand im Netz eine Aufgabe des von uns sehr hoch geschätzten russischen Autoren Stanislaw M. Tolstoi aus dem Jahre 1980. Es handelte sich um ein S#9. Da in der Originalstellung offensichtlich nicht das Bauernpaar d2/d3 vorhanden war, hatte die Aufgabe Nebenlösungen in sieben Zügen. Durch die Ergänzung dieser beiden Bauern ist die Aufgabe nun korrekt und auch sehr nahe am Original.
Steven hat die korrigierte Aufgabe sofort nachdem GUSTAV deren Korrektheit festgestellt hat, im Netz veröffentlicht. Volker hat sie dann in die PDB übernommen, und somit hat nach nunmehr 42 Jahren diesbezüglich alles seine Ordnung. – Der Autor selbst konnte die Aufgabe offenbar nicht mehr selbst korrigieren. Zum einen gab es damals noch keine geeigneten Computer und außerdem ist er im Alter von nur 41 Jahren 1986 verstorben.

Korrektur einer völlig defekten Aufgabe aus dem Jahre 1926 mit originellem Touch und Zugaben.

Die beiden ersten Lösungen a) und b) sind inhaltlich dem Original nachempfunden, in dem sie die beiden Hauptvarianten in einer Lösung bildeten. In obiger Aufgabe sind beide Schlüssel demzufolge mit Dualvermeidung verknüpft.
Nach dem jeweiligen Schlüsselzug erhält der schwarze König jedes Mal ein anderes Fluchtfeld (c7, e7, d7, e8, c8). Somit betritt er in jeder Lösung ein anderes der angrenzenden Felder, insgesamt jedes der fünf möglichen einmal.
In Lösung d) wechseln im Laufe der Lösung der wBd6 und der schwarze König die Plätze.
In den Lösungen c) und d) wird der mattgebende Zug jeweils vom schwarzen König ausgeführt, außerdem feuert die schwarze L/K-Batterie in den beiden Mattzügen auf unterschiedliche Weise ab.
In Lösung e) muss der schwarze König auf ein anderes Feld gelenkt werden, damit das Matt möglich wird. Hier sehen wir auch Umnow-Elemente.

Eine Korrekturversion ist uns nicht bekannt. Aber selbst wenn es eine korrekte Umsetzung der Ur-Idee von Hällström geben sollte, so ist doch unsere Bearbeitung eine deutliche Erweiterung der Idee von Hällström und nach unserer Meinung in jedem Falle einen Urdruck wert.

Durch die minimale Versetzung eines weißen Bauern sehen wir drei völlig unterschiedliche Lösungen:
In Lösung a) zweimal weiße Läufer-Unterverwandlung. Gemischtfarbige Opferbahnung weißer Läufer für den schwarzen Läufer im Mattzug.
In Lösung b) diagonale Bahnung des weißen Königs für seine Dame mit anschließender Rückkehr des weißen Monarchen. Gemischtfarbige Opferbahnung weiße Dame für den schwarzen Läufer im Mattzug. Mustermatt.
In Lösung c) eine Bahnungs-Orgie: Zuerst bahnt der weiße Turm für den zweiten weißen Turm. Dieser wiederum bahnt für seine Dame. Anschließend bahnt der zweite weiße Turm für den anderen weißen Turm. Dadurch Rückkehr beider weißer Türme. Wiederum gemischtfarbige Opferbahnung weiße Dame für den schwarzen Läufer im Mattzug. Mustermatt.
