Sally: Allein die Mattführung des Hauptplans ist ein Problem für sich, wollen doch erst einmal zwei nicht alltägliche sukzessive Opfer beider Türme erkannt werden.
1. Td4+? - Kxd4, 2. Tc5 (droht 3. Tc4#) - Kxc5, 3. Le3+ - Kd6?, 4. Sc4#. Aber 3. .. - Kb5!!
Stünde der s. Bauer auf b6, würde 4. Lc4# gehen. Gerade dieser winzige Unterschied macht den unscheinbaren Vorplanerfolg aus und führt zu einem Fernblock.
1. Tb3! (Txb4#) - Ba5,womit das Ziel schon erreicht wäre. Allerdings muss erst der Tb3 wieder ins die Ausgangsstellung zurückgebracht werden (Zwischenplan)
2. Te3+ - Kd4; - bis 7. Lc4#.
Nebenvarianten sind :
1.. - Bf2, 2. Ld2(3. Txb4/Tf4+)
1.. - Bc5, 2. Te3+ - Kd4, 3. Td5+.
